The short version

We collect the contact details you send us through this website so we can reply to you, and we use standard website analytics to see which pages people visit. We do not sell your information to anyone.

What we collect

When you use the contact form

The form on our contact page collects your first name, last name, email address, subject and message. It is processed by Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, which passes the message to our email inbox at contact@luckysdaycare.com. We use these details to answer you and, if you become a client, to get you set up.

When you browse the site

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use this website — which pages get visited, roughly where visitors are from, and which links they click. This uses cookies and records a shortened version of your IP address. We look at this in aggregate; we are not trying to identify individual visitors.

We may also use the Meta Pixel, which reports website activity to Meta (Facebook and Instagram) so we can measure whether our ads are working and show ads to people who have visited this site. This also uses cookies.

You can opt out of both. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings, Google offers a Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and your ad settings on Facebook and Instagram control what Meta does with the data it receives.

When you use the client portal

Booking, your dog's records and payments are handled in our client portal, which runs on Gingr — a separate service with its own privacy policy. Nothing you enter there is covered by this page. If you have questions about how that data is stored, ask us and we will point you at the right answer.

What we don't do

• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• We do not send marketing email to people who have not asked for it.
• We do not collect payment details on this website — the portal handles that.

How long we keep things

Contact-form messages stay in our email until we no longer need them. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in the tools above. Client records are held in the portal for as long as you are a client, and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@luckysdaycare.com or call 604-299-2480 and we will sort it out.

Children

This website is aimed at dog owners, not children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
